IS IT POSSIBLE TO PRINT WATER BASED INKS ONTO DARK GARMENTS?

YES, YOU CAN SCREEN PRINT WITH WATER BASED INKS ONTO DARK COLOURED GARMENTS.

It didn't used to be possible to screen print dark coloured garments using water based inks but ink formulations have improved vastly over the last couple of decades.  We've been using Permaset Aqua Supercover inks since 2007 and two layers of ink gives a completely opaque print.

We still hear from clients that have been told this is not possible, using water based inks but this is just not true.

Eco Boutique designed this amazing firebird print for Peruvian Restaurant Lima.  Two coats of light blue Supercover on navy EarthPositive T-shirts looks superb.
