Glow inks (also known as fluorescent inks) are very bright inks (think 80's fluorescent yellow socks) and can make prints really pop! They cost more than standard inks (we charge an extra 20% for each print to cover it) but they make for amazing prints. There are lots of different glow inks: glow red, glow yellow, glow green, glow orange, glow magenta, etc. We can mix glow inks with other colours but it can reduce the glow effect. Better to keep them pure or mix them with each other for full effect.
This T-shirt design by Tomi Lahdesmaki has a mix of fluorescent glow inks and muted pastel colours. We mixed Supercover glow red and glow orange to get the colour right and it really pops. Mixing the inks together reminded us of those Fruit Salad sweets. LOVE these T-shirts. Really fresh and fun. You can see more of Tomi’s work here
